Fans rally around ‘frightened’ Jeremy Clarkson after update

The former Top Gear star, who has recently become known for hit Amazon Prime show Clarkson’s Farm, made the admission at the launch of new series Millionaire Hot Seat.

This is a spin-off from popular ITV quiz show Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? which he began presenting in 2018.

According to the Daily Mail, the 65-year-old said he was “genuinely frightened” as he takes his first break from TV filming in 40 years.

That time includes decades of involvement with BBC show Top Gear and Amazon Prime series The Grand Tour, both of which he presented with James May and Richard Hammond.

It also includes his farming show which has made stars out of fellow cast members including Kaleb Cooper and Lisa Hogan.

He has now said he won’t be in front of a camera until March and he said it will likely be “three months of s***”.

Considering this fans online were quick to show their support for the former local journalist with some saying he deserved a break for his health and others commenting that he pushes himself too hard.

Last year, Mr Clarkson revealed he underwent emergency heart surgery at the John Radcliffe in Oxford after suffering pains.

Since then, he has been on a new, healthier diet, which has resulted in weight loss.

Despite these latest reports he has consistently made clear that he has no intention of slowing down.
