Clarkson’s Farm Dealt Two Huge Blows As Jeremy Forced To Halt Filming

The relentless pace of Jeremy Clarkson’s “Diddly Squat” farm has ground to a sudden and soggy halt. Production on the sixth season of the hit Amazon Prime series, Clarkson’s Farm, has been officially suspended as the presenter faces a “double blow” of catastrophic weather and a widening livestock health crisis.

Clarkson, who famously describes himself as a “one-man blizzard of productivity,” has reportedly been rendered idle by a persistent deluge of rain that has turned the Cotswold hills into an impassable quagmire. The saturation of the land has made it impossible to plant essential crops or move heavy machinery, leaving the agricultural schedule in tatters.

A Farm Under Lockdown

While the weather has stalled the machinery, a far grimmer shadow hangs over the livestock. Diddly Squat remains under a strict “lockdown” due to an ongoing outbreak of bovine tuberculosis (TB).

The health crisis has already taken a tragic turn; Clarkson recently revealed the loss of a cow and her unborn twins to the disease. Under current bio-security restrictions, the movement of cattle is strictly prohibited, preventing the team from working with the herd or progressing with filming sequences involving the animals. The lockdown represents not only a financial hit to the farm’s operations but a significant emotional strain on the crew.

The “Silver Lining” in the Barn

Despite the filming hiatus, partner Lisa Hogan has offered a glimmer of hope for the upcoming season. While the cows remain in isolation, the farm’s sheep have provided a much-needed “silver lining.”

Hogan confirmed that several ewes are currently pregnant, with the team expecting a flurry of new arrivals in the coming weeks. The impending lambing season—with the high probability of twins—is expected to provide a central, more uplifting storyline for Series 6 once the cameras are eventually allowed to roll again.

The Long Wait for Fans

The production delays have shifted the broadcast horizon for the show’s massive global audience. While Season 5 has already wrapped filming (concluding last September) and is slated for release in May 2026, the current setbacks in Season 6 mean viewers likely won’t see the fallout of this “wet winter” until May 2027.

The rare moment of stillness is a forced departure for Clarkson, whose portfolio has expanded rapidly to include the Hawkstone Brewery, a newly opened destination pub, and his ongoing duties on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.

Despite the mud and the tragedy, Amazon’s commitment to the franchise remains unshakable. With two more seasons already greenlit, the “blizzard of productivity” will eventually return—provided the clouds over Oxfordshire finally break.
