“So Parker *DOES* haggle. Someone should tell Kevin.”
“Parker to Kevin : “i’m not negotiating. take it or leave it.” Parker this episode: “I’ll take it, I’m desperate””
“Why doesn’t each piece of equipment have an extinguisher on it? It’s safety 101 on a mining site. What if you’re miles away from an extinguisher? You’re gonna run both ways?”
“Earlier this season I thought it was editing drama to say Parker was going to miss his goal. Looks like he’s in actual trouble this time.”
“Buzz looked a lot happier. Parker needs ground ASAP. The special next week is a Day in the life of Mitch. The preview for future shows, Tony firing up the Dredge again!”
Gold Rush: Does Parker Schnabel Regret His Biggest Investment?

Another discussion on social media also suggests that Parker Schnabel may be regretting his $15 million Dominion Creek investment. The Gold Rush star was hoping to find gold worth over $160 million. But he’s far from reaching it in the latest season. The Dominion Creek is part of the Klondike gold district. Most gold deposits come from a volcanic eruption. This made it harder for Parker and his team to dig up gold, as most of them are buried 40 feet underground. Some also said that Parker is already losing so much from equipment alone.

“Honestly, they don’t reveal how much they spend on equipment, gas, and labor, we wouldn’t really know for sure. But I do remember Parker getting like 10mill last season, and he has almost 5,000 ounces of gold now, which is like another 5+ million right there. I’d hope he’s doing pretty good.”
“I’m thinking that Parker just isn’t used to being in debt and operating with a big financial obligation. He’s got a mind for the business and if the gold in the ground is worth more than the cost to extract it, he’s going to be okay. He did the homework and while he doesn’t mind taking a risk here and there, his purchase seems to be well calculated and not a gamble.”
“I don’t think Parker appreciated the challenges going into this year for sure.”
