Clarkson’s response after a Facebook user complained about a tractor has fans talking

Jeremy Clarkson has branded a man a “deluded fool” after he complained about noisy tractors using a road in the late evening.
The former Top Gear host was responding to a Facebook post which was originally shared on the Spotted Earl Shilton page by a resident who took exception to tractors continuing to work at 11pm.
The post read: “Why at almost 11pm at night are we still getting tractors run down the road on Belle Vue. FFS do it during the bl**dy day.”
The post was then shared with Jeremy, who runs his own farm in Oxfordshire, by another resident.
And he was less than impressed by the complaint, reports the Mirror.
Clearly irritated by the comment, Jeremy replied: “Yeah. Not sure the deluded fool knows much.”
Jeremy recently took the plunge into the world of farming and documented his journey in the smash hit Amazon series Clarkson’s Farm, which will be returning for a second series.
But farming has come with its challenges and Jeremy was recently left gutted after losing ten acres of crops on his farm when he stopped using specific insecticides.
Speaking to Times Radio ‘s Giles Coren about having to change his insecticides, he said: “If you spray neonicotinoids on oilseed rape, which you have to do to stop flea beetles eating it, that hurts the bees.
“So everybody would say you mustn’t do that. We must not hurt the bees, it’s obvious.
“However, if you don’t use neonicotinoids your oilseed rape basically dies. I lost about ten acres of it last year.”He continued to talk about palm oil, which he said ends up having a negative effect on “orangutans in Sumatra”.
“So then people say you must not hurt the orangutans, so then you can’t have any form of oil,” he added.
“So it’s always a balance, it’s always a struggle, everything you ever do. There is nothing organic on my farm – nothing.”

Jeremy’s Amazon Prime show Clarkson’s Farm has been confirmed to be returning for a second series after fans were left fuming when they realised the show wasn’t getting another string of episodes.
In a statement, Jeremy said: “I’m absolutely delighted that, once again you’ll be able to spend some time with Cheerful Charlie, Gerald, Lisa and of course, Kaleb. We are such a happy team.”
Dan Grabiner, Head of UK Originals, Amazon Studios, added: “Clarkson’s Farm is Jeremy’s unfiltered love letter to farming. It is that authenticity, charm and humour, combined with the farm’s fantastic characters, which have made the series such a remarkable hit with audiences.
“We are delighted to be joining the team for another year-in-the-life of Diddly Squat, and wish Kaleb and farmers across the country luck as Mother Nature continues to take revenge on Jeremy.”
