Clarkson’s Farm star makes big purchase after leaving show

Clarkson’s Farm newcomer Harriet Cowan has made a major life upgrade after capturing the hearts of fans in the latest season of the hit Prime Video series. The 24-year-old farmhand, who joined the show earlier this year, has revealed she’s splashed out on a brand-new Maxus T60 Automatic 4×4, worth around £34,000.

Meet Harriet Cowan, the breakout star of Clarkson's Farm

Cowan, a young farmer from Derbyshire, became a familiar face in season four of Clarkson’s Farm, stepping in temporarily to help Jeremy Clarkson at his Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire. She filled in for long-time fan favourite Kaleb Cooper, who was away on tour and filming other projects during part of the series.

Despite being a newcomer, Harriet quickly became a fan favourite in her own right — impressing both Clarkson and viewers with her competence, calm attitude, and sense of humour amidst the usual Diddly Squat chaos. Her natural charm and easy chemistry with the rest of the team made her a standout addition to the cast.

Now, only months after her television debut, the rising star has celebrated her success with a big purchase — a shiny 2025 Maxus T60 Automatic, which she proudly showed off to her followers on Instagram.

The rugged pickup, powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine, boasts a top speed of 106mph, according to Luxury Auto News. The new model is known for combining heavy-duty practicality with a sleek, modern design — fitting for someone who spends as much time in the fields as she does behind the wheel.

While Harriet’s purchase has fans celebrating her success, speculation is already swirling about whether she will return for the fifth season of Clarkson’s Farm. The upcoming series has already finished filming in Oxfordshire, though Prime Video has yet to confirm the full returning cast.

When asked previously about the possibility of coming back, Cowan told BBC Breakfast:

“We’ve always left it very open. I’m here if he needs me, but no plans at the minute. If he needs me, I’m here.”

Her flexible attitude mirrors the nature of farming life — unpredictable, but always ready for the next challenge.

For his part, Jeremy Clarkson has spoken warmly about Harriet’s contribution to the show. In an interview with The Sun, the 65-year-old presenter praised her work ethic and personality, saying:

“We don’t just bring characters in because the TV show needs it. You bring them in because you really need them.
I loved Harriet to bits and I wish her all the very best. She was fantastic to have around.”

Clarkson even joked that while Kaleb Cooper remains an irreplaceable member of the Diddly Squat crew, he’s glad to know Cowan is only a phone call away:

“The truth is, we’ve got Kaleb — and he might go off and do Celebrity Love Island or something. If I can’t manage, I’ll call Harriet in a heartbeat.”

As Clarkson’s Farm continues to shine a light on the challenges and triumphs of rural life, Harriet Cowan’s journey reflects the show’s growing influence in inspiring a new generation of farmers — and proving that the future of British agriculture is in capable hands.
