Clarkson’s Farm star Jeremy Clarkson makes major announcement about Diddly Squat

Clarkson’s Farm star Jeremy Clarkson has made an exciting announcement about his Diddly Squat farm shop.
Taking to its official Instagram account, Diddly Squat Farm Shop, Jeremy announced they would be staying open in the coming months.
Alongside a photo, which read, “We have an announcement”, they wrote, “Due to high demand, we’ve decided to keep the farm shop open in January & February.”
The comment section was soon flooded with messages of support from fans, with one writing, “This is great news.”
Another said, “That is great news, because I really wanna come and visit again, I’m not gonna get any chance in December unfortunately.”
While a third added, “Well done, for all the farmers that provide and your staff.”
Someone else commented, “You all work so hard…..you deserve every success xxx.”
“That’s great news as I want to bring my daughter for her birthday in February,” another went on.
Jeremy and his partner, Lisa Hogan, often keep their followers updated, with Lisa generally taking the lead with posting on their business pages.
However, in his column for the Sunday Times magazine, Jeremy shared his desire to get more birds back at his farm in Chipping Norton.
He shared, “Since 1970 their numbers have plummeted by more than 60 per cent, and when I first bought Diddly Squat this sorry state of affairs was obvious. I’d go for a walk, and the skies were completely empty.”
“This made me sad, so when I started farming the land seven years ago, I decided to do something about it. Away from the roads, I stopped trimming the hedges and widened the margins around the edges of the fields.”
According to The Grand Tour star, farmers are required to leave a buffer zone of between four and six metres around the edges of fields.
However, Jeremy decided to leave 10 in some areas to foster a healthier environment for the birds, even though it meant producing less food,
