Jeremy Clarkson’s funny sharing about Clarkson’s Farm makes fans excited

Jeremy Clarkson left his followers concerned on Sunday after disclosing that filming had ceased at his agricultural venture. The 64 year old broadcaster boasts a devoted following eager to witness his farming exploits – the best moments of which are documented on film.

The television personality posted online: “Filming at Diddly Squat has stopped for a little while, but the farming goes on. Today, I have rented out a pig for sexual purposes.” Supporters were astonished by the revelation, with numerous individuals responding to Jeremy’s message with amazement and curiosity.

One replied, posting: “Glad you stopped the filming at this stage, then.” Another admirer commented: “How does one move from cars to pig pimpery? It doesn’t seem a natural transition.” Meanwhile another posted: “Thank you, Jeremy. That will be all. We’re trying to enjoy our Sunday bacon and eggs here.”

Pig breeding represents a lucrative sector within the farming industry, with boar owners able to lease their animals to fellow farmers for potentially hundreds of pounds to mate with sows. Farmers can charge per sow for their boar rental services, whilst the UK’s pork sector is reportedly valued at over £14 billion.

This follows revelations from Jeremy and Kaleb Cooper about a grim find at Diddly Squat Farm after they discovered half an ear. During a game of ‘Who Said That’ on Amazon Prime’s YouTube channel, Jeremy, Kaleb, and Jeremy’s partner Lisa Hogan were trying to work out who had spoken the words: “The only thing they won’t eat is teeth”.

They then remembered a disturbing incident where a piglet had been consumed by its mother. After establishing that Lisa had made the comment, Jeremy interrupted, clarifying it related to “the very first piglet we had”.

Lisa replied: “Half an ear she left as well.”

Jeremy added: “If she hadn’t left half an ear we wouldn’t have known what had happened, we just would have thought it escaped. When you find half an ear, you know.”

This represents yet another difficult animal-related challenge Jeremy has faced since transitioning to full-time farming in 2019. Earlier this month, the former Top Gear host, 65, revealed he was compelled to put down the first calf born at Diddly Squat after a tuberculosis outbreak.

Sharing a poignant image of a cow on Instagram, Jeremy penned: “This was the first calf ever born at Diddly Squat. And this morning she was destroyed, while pregnant with twins, because she has TB. So sad.”

This sorrowful event marks the latest hurdle for Jeremy’s farming endeavour as he battles to turn his 1,000-acre farm into a profitable enterprise, a journey documented in Amazon Prime’s series, Clarkson Farm.

Jeremy disclosed that his farm was struck by a TB outbreak during the summer, alerting followers that culling might be required to halt further contagion.
