Fans Worried About Absence: Harriet Cowan Shares Hospital Photos After ‘Bloody’ Incident at Farm
Harriet Cowan was taken to hospital on Monday following a serious accident involving a log splitter that severed the tip of her finger.
The television personality shared horrific photos after sharing that she had undergone emergency surgery to have the fingertip reattached at the Pulvertaft Hand Clinic.
The 24-year-old shared the news with her followers, writing: “Sorry I’ve been quiet! Been a cr***y week.
“Had a run in with a log splitter chopped the end of my finger off, but a quick surgery they stitched it back on!!”

She posted several graphic photographs showing the injury before the operation, as well as an image of her finger after surgeons had stitched it back together.
Ms expressed her gratitude to the medical professionals who treated her, thanking “the amazing team at pulvertaft hand clinic.”
Despite the challenging week, Ms Cowan confirmed that lambing season is now underway on her farm.
The Derbyshire-based farmer, who hails from Belper, rose to prominence after appearing in the fourth series of Clarkson’s Farm, the Amazon Prime documentary following Jeremy Clarkson’s agricultural ventures at Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds.
She joined the popular show while regular cast member Kaleb Cooper was away, working alongside Clarkson, Lisa Hogan, Charlie Ireland and Gerald Cooper.
The programme first launched in 2021 and has since broadcast five series, becoming one of the streaming platform’s most successful British productions.
Before her television career took off, Ms Cowan had been juggling demanding shifts as a nurse with her farming responsibilities at her family’s property.
Her television career has continued to expand beyond the farming documentary, with Ms Cowan securing a presenting position on Channel 4’s Tiny Farmers last month.
